Théâtre de l'Atelier
1 Place Charles Dullin

In 1817, Pierre-Jacques Seveste built a small wooden hall "Le Montmartre". After his death, his two sons took the succession. The brothers Seveste gave up the management to various actors. "The Montmartre" planed mainly famous dramas and comedies in which many young players make their weapons as Charles Dullin. The theater closed in 1914 to reopen shortly after and became a cinema.
In 1922, this theater returned at the dramas and the comedies. Its director Robert Maurice renamed it "L'Atelier" and entrusts artistic direction to the actor Charles Dullin.
